Tanks By Porter
Branding / Web
A client of mine approached me with a wonderful invention idea; to reclaim grey water in drought-stricken California, he created an apparatus that could collect and store the grey from his household use. Dish washing, Laundry and the occasional rain water from his gutters is now collected and repurposed, watering his garden and washing car. He wanted a website to promote his invention, and to serve as a contact hub for local news and social media.
I built him a logo, and an attractive parallax site that has a clean, friendly, eco-sensitive look, with custom illustrations and icons I made specially for Tanks By Porter. By being mindful of the color scheme, typograpgy and overall look and feel of the graphics on the site, I gave my client a unique website that resonated with visitors and local media, helping to put Tanks By Porter on the map.
Local news media latched on to the story, and Tanks by Porter has sold several units as a result. Having a good social media mix and an attractive website as home base helped gain new visitors' attention and trust. Word of mouth helped further, once there was an easy way for consumers to share the product with their friends and family. Tanks by Porter website is currently live, and can be viewed here. →
